Privacy policy
This site collects very little, and this page says exactly what and why. Koucheh is a dental equipment supplier, not an advertising business.
01What we do not collect
There are no accounts on this site. You cannot register, and we do not ask for a password.
We do not sell, rent or share anything about you with advertisers, and there are no advertising or tracking pixels on this site.
02The contact form goes to WhatsApp, not to us
When you fill in the contact form and press send, nothing is submitted to a Koucheh server. The form opens WhatsApp with your message already written, and you choose whether to send it.
That means what you typed reaches us the same way any WhatsApp message does — on our line +963 988369798 — and it is handled by WhatsApp under their own privacy terms, not ours.
The same is true of every "Order on WhatsApp" and "Talk to us" button on the site.
03Cookies
One cookie is set when you browse: it remembers which country you selected, so prices and branches stay correct when you move between pages. It contains a two-letter country code and nothing else, and it expires after a year.
Staff who sign in to manage the catalogue get a session cookie. That applies to Koucheh employees, not to visitors.
We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.
04Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It is aggregated, it sets no cookie, and it does not build a profile of you or follow you to other sites.
05The personal card pages
Koucheh's owners carry business cards with a chip in them. Tapping the card, or scanning the code on it, opens a page at koucheh.co/card showing that person's details and a button that saves them to your phone.
Those pages count how often they are opened, and how often the contact is saved. What is recorded is: whose card it was, whether the device was a phone, a tablet or a computer, which language the page was shown in, and the date and time.
That is the whole list. We do not record your IP address, we set no cookie on these pages, we do not fingerprint your device, and we do not record your location. We cannot tell who you are from this, and we are not trying to — the only question it answers is whether the cards are being used.
Automated fetches are discarded, including the preview that WhatsApp and similar apps make when a link is pasted into a chat.
06Where the site is hosted
The site is hosted by Vercel and served over HTTPS, so traffic between your device and the site is encrypted. Product information is stored in our own database and contains no visitor data.
07Your requests, and how to reach us
If you want to know what we hold about you, or want a WhatsApp conversation deleted from our phone, write to info@koucheh.com or message us on WhatsApp and we will deal with it.
This page will be updated if what the site does changes. The date above is when it last changed.
